Rugby is a spring sport that can develop skills that are beneficial and transferrable to football and other varsity sports. Check out the below videos to learn how rugby trains better football players.
The Danbury Rugby Football club is based out of Danbury, CT. Danbury Rugby was established in 1979, comprised of players from Connecticut as well as southeast New York. Many players are graduates of the nearby Western Connecticut State University, and the rugby club still enjoys a good relationship with the University, including its players and coaches. However, college experience is not a prerequisite to joining Danbury Rugby; the team accepts members from a wide variety of experience.
