DRFC has secured its place in the 2016 playoffs! The regular season might be over, but we’re not taking time off. Sevens practices continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays in preparation for the Randall’s Island tournament. We will also continue our tradition of Thanksgiving Sevens! If you’re looking to get a run in, regardless of rugby experience level, come join us. Practices Thursday 11/19 and Tuesday 11/23 will be at Mill Ridge Elementary in Danbury.

Danbury Rugby will try to extend its winning streak in a game away against the Village Lions. The game will be played at Randall’s Island, New York.

Danbury Madhatters kicked off the season on Saturday with a solid 43-17 win over Hudson Valley. Eightman Alec “Pooh Bear” Bellardinelli led the way with four tries, while Chris “Nashville” Taylor did a lot of hard, dirty work in the pack during scrums, rucks, and crash balls.
Practice resumes Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm at Mill Ridge.
Danbury Madhatters visit New Haven next Saturday, 9/19.
